Acts 1:8 records the final words Jesus shared with his disciples before returning to heaven: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." As we read the story of Acts, it is clear how passionate and sold out these first followers of Jesus were in being his witnesses. They were acutely aware that heaven and hell hung in the balance. Over the next thirty years, Christ's Church grew from 120 to over 100,000 as his disciples shared the message of Jesus in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and beyond.

Since 1981, BSCC has been seeking guidance and power from the Holy Spirit to be Jesus' witnesses. Over these decades we have been blessed to see lives changed, marriages and families healed, ministries thrive, and hundreds of new believers grow up in Christ. For my wife Tammy and me, it is not an overstatement to say that being a part of BSCC has been one of the most profound parts of our lives and family.

For the past several months, our Overseers and Ministry Staff have been asking the Holy Spirit to guide us in ways that BSCC can multiply our impact for Jesus in our Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. We are convinced this Multiply initiative will provide us with that opportunity.

We invite you to join us on this journey. Our hope is that every BSCCer will participate. We look forward with great anticipation to what God will do in us and through us as together we seek to make an even greater impact for Jesus in Blue Springs, Kansas City, and our world.
